Organizing a Yard Sale Before the Winter

Before it gets too cold to have a yard sale, it's time to try to downsize and get rid of things that you don't need around your home. Start inside the home where there may be books, cds, dvds, toys, clothes, or game consoles among other items that someone else needs or wants. Consider getting rid of old furniture and appliances that are either not used much any more or can be in great shape if someone knows how to fix them. Go through each room in the home to determine what you simply don't need anymore. Put them aside and continue towards the yard.
